Is it possible to read the mind of God?

Will we evolve faster than we self-destruct?

You should read this short story, its directly related to the picture you posted and I find it to be very wonderful and profound.

  4. I read the Bhagavad Gita once. I think the mind of Vishnu is much like that webcomic. Thanks for the insight.

  7. Hey, someone mentioned The Last Question!

Isaac Asimov short story about whether or not entropy can be reversed; meanwhile, man fuses with machine and each other to become immortal, in essence. The problem is that there's no more energy once all the stars die out.

Great read. Good comic, too. I usually don't see any that aren't specifically for humor. Thanks.

  8. The comic brings up a good point. It's interesting to see how far we've come.

  9. My head is full of billions and billions of fuck. That being said, it's thought provoking and interesting. Whenever I argue with creationists I like to argue from the point of view you can't know the mind of God. More like this.

  11. This is actually one of the arguments for why we have not seen extraterrestrial intelligent life.

They uploaded their consciousnesses to computers and they couldn't care less about reality.

Personally I think that if there are sentient aliens, they quarantined us for being belligerent assholes.

  13. But, wait..if God is just a construct of the human mind then you don't need to read god's mind since you already dictate what he thinks. Do I win?
